This is my first original design. It is made with a natural hand dyed silk I got off of ebay:

I am hoping I can work out a pattern for this. I kind a just made it up as I went along. The stitch patterns are out of The Crochet Stitch Bible. I picked 2 I thought would work well together then chained enough stitches to fit around my shoulders using HDC. I used the first pattern leaving the front open and adding stitches as needed. I also started with a size d hook and ended with a size h so that it would get larger and looser.
The yarn was a lot different than I expected - it was matte and almost felt like linen. I bought it on ebay from Red Barn Farms - I have bought from her before and her colors are lovely!
