Birdhouse afghan Finished

I finished my son's Birdhouse afghan just before his birthday. He has been wanting an afghan of his own for a while now.Lynda

You can find the pattern in "The Year of Afghans, Book 13" It is put out by Leisure Arts. I got my book on a sale rack at Wal-Mart last April for $5.00.

That is really really neat! Did it have a lot of hard stitches or anything in it? Beautiful!

The stitches were not hard, however there are a few rows that I had to have the pattern handy to remember how it went. Usually when I do blocks after about the second or third one I can remember the pattern, not the case with the Birdhouse. The blocks do work up fast.
