Beaded fringe

So I was thinking of making some beaded fringe for a shawl I'm working on. (not having the whole fringe beaded, but putting a bead or two on each fringe thread)

But I have no idea how to do that. Has anyone done this before?

I've only put a big bead at the beginning of each fringe "tuft". I haven't experimented beyond that...I'm not a big fringe girl.

That sounds similar to my thinking! I'm talking simple here! :)

When I have used beads in anything fringed, I put the bead on and tied a knot to hold it where I wanted it. If you want the bead to move (or don't care) place the bead on the fringe, then tie a knot at the end.
