I finally finished my first attempt at a teddy. She came out ok, though I did make some mistakes on her. Sewing her parts together was harrrrd. My niece loves her nevertheless and walks about hugging her often. I'm working on the male version of the bear. It's already looking better than this one. Still, I'm proud of her.:cheer

Stop telling people you made mistakes. You would never know it to look at her. She's lovely.

I've learned that sometimes things we see as having a bunch of mistakes are the most loved items someone has! I have been scared to try one, but looking at your first one, I'm ready to give it a try! I want to make one for my great-nephew for Christmas. I hope mine turns out as cute as yours!

Did you invent the pattern, Nightset?

No, the teddy is my version of the Pamela Bear found here at Crochet Pattern Central. The male version is there too.

Very cute!:cheer And I must agree with you putting the parts on the body is the really hard part. Maybe I am making it harder than it really is.

A wonderful bear. I always get frustrated with the sewing up part then, when you see the look on the recipient's face when they receive it, you realize it's all worth it. I can't wait to see the boy bear when you're done. Cheers.
