Double increase, double decrease??

I'm working on the Toe-Up Crocheted Socks at http://www.graftonfibers.com/socks.htm and it's talking about a double increase and a double decrease. I can't find a thing online to tell me what that means.:( lol
anyone know?

The double increase is explained in the same paragraph in the instructions- increase 2 stitches thus a double increase. Double decrease would be just the opposite - decrease 2 stitches thus a double decrease.
