Thread coverlet

Hi,

I'm new here, so I thought I'd introduce myself. I'm Michelle, I live in DC, and I've been crocheting since I was about six. I've been crocheting with thread for about three years now, since I made a gigantic coverlet for friends who got married. I ended up with The Claw for a right hand after making 410 individual six-sided doilies and sewing them all together. And then the weaving in of the ends. My god the weaving in. That project took six months of making a minimum of two a day (at an hour apiece). So after a break, I decided I needed to make one for myself. I'm about half way through, but I'm trying to be a bit more "sane" about it and am only making one a day.

Wow eaving is a great art-wish I had time to do that as well as crochet! That is going to be a nice coverlet!! 410 days! :eek
