This was from a really cool vintage crochet pattern I bought off of ebay. I love fiestaware and just loved these potholders resembling the sugar and cream set. This is the creamer. Sugar to come soon!

Hi! instead of a shell stitch, it's dc's:

1 dc in each st for a complete round
skip 1 dc, *2dc between the next 2 dc, skip 2 dc, repeat from * around

Cute potholder and I love the colors. You are right. They definitely don't make cotton yarn like they use to. :(

You did a wonderful job. It makes me want to get out all my old potholder books and make one.
