You can train it to Rhinebeck. But I'm not sure how close this is to the train station.

I know Amtrack runs through there from Penn station. But I think there are also trains that run to Rhineback from Grand Central. www.amtrack.com (http://www.amtrack.com) would have schedules.

I'm usually going south from Albany to NYC and I know there is a Rhineback station.
