The following is info I came across about a local event happening next week. It seems to be women artisans and not heavily fiber centered, but I am going to see what there is to see and find out more about them as a group to see if it might be somewhere to take my wares in the future.

I am going on the 6th, I think. I would hate to miss something grand by going on a subsequent date.

Urban Crafters Present Their Wares
October 6th, 5 to 9, and Oct. 7th & 8th, 10 am to 6pm at The
Gallery
Don't miss this gathering of women designers and artists, showcasing their
hip and unique goods at the Gallery, 6303 Beverly Hill (off Chimney Rock).
Beat the Christmas shopping rush and pick up gifts ranging from $5 to
$500, while supporting women artists! Talk about a Win/Win situation!
The artists in the show are:

Farrah Braniff - photographer, selling prints, sessions, cards
Blakely Braniff - designer, selling hip baby wear, handbound photo albums,
journals, baby books and handcrafted greeting cards
Melanie Barry - stitcher, selling beautiful needlework pillows and purses

accessories – all handmade and all one-of-a-kind

Closet'

for small charge

Is this a yearly event? Has it already happened a second time (in 2006)? Just wondering.
