That is so pretty. I need to learn to make gloves, those are neat. They would be great for hunters in camoflauge! :))

Excellent job, it all looks wonderful. Is it for you to keep or is somebody else going to be really excited to receive them? :)h

They are for me (I'm so selfish :blush )... but I think I'll end up making more sets for gifts.

Hey Ket - you aren't selfish at all to want to keep that beautiful set for yourself. I only wish I kept more things I made, but usually out the door they go. Look at it this way, that set is your "trial" set, any others you make will be the giveaways and since you've already had the trial run, you can be proud and hold your head up because you know you did a great job. And you really did a great job!! :clap :thumbsup

WOW! Very nice :) Were the mittens very difficult to make? I've been wanting to make some but I've been intimidated lol. You did a great job! I don't think it's selfish at ALL to keep them for yourself! Enjoy them! :brrr

MarvieN, I didn't think they were that hard. First I made a practice one but only the one hand and then I made the real things. I usually do that because I am usually a perfectionist about things so I find it works best to do it that way and so I can change the pattern a little bit to fit my own hand perfectly!

Your winter set :brrr is absolutely beautiful! :clap

I so wish I lived in a place that got cold enough to justify all the awesome scarves, hats, sweaters and ponchos and stuff I see on here. Looks like a lot of fun, but then again, the super warmth here allows me to concentrate on making doilies hehe =) :yes
