I was trying to figure out a pattern this morning and then started playing with what I was coming up with.

What I ended up with was the cutest little snowflake.

I thought I might try making a bunch of them (like Granny-Squares) and stitching them together at the points to make an afghan :D

What I did was make a simple chain 5 stitches long then join the ends toghether in a circle.

3sc & Turn

I then used the "eye" of this circle to make 14 trebel stitches.

3sc & Turn

Between the "spokes" of the trebel stitches I used a simple shell stitch (3dc, 3sc, 3dc) then skipped a "spoke" and repeated all the way round.

end. :D

I know that's not very clear but if anyone wants to try it I can help clarify ha ha.

My mother wants me to make her a bunch that she can startch and hang from the Christmas tree.
