This started out as an idea for a pillowghan. The squares were gifted to me through Freecycle (http://freecycle.org). They are 14.5 inches. When I folded it up to see how big the pocket would have to be, it was almost 8 inches thick. My youngest claimed it before it was even finished. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v478/SamplerLady/mmouseplus.gif

This is the pillow I made from the left over square. Haven't decided if I'll keep it or save it for a gift. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v478/SamplerLady/mmouseplus.gif

They look wonderful! I love them both!
And, btw, after reading your blog I joined a Freecycle group in my area. I'm pshyched because it's kinda like garage sale-ing in the off-season in NY. Thanks for the linkage!

Oh, I think Freecycle is better than yardsales. It's free! :frog
Thanks for kind comments on my opps. I'm happy with what it turned out to be. I guess crochet projects are like kids. You start out thinking they are going to be this and they end up being that! http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v478/SamplerLady/mmouseplus.gif

That ghan and pillow are both awesome! I checked out your blog and saw some of the other things you made with your free squares and yarns and all I can say is WOW! :yes
I just signed up for the freecycle thingy for my city. I have been trying to get rid of a folding table for about a year now, so hopefully this will do the trick, and of course I will gladly accept any yarns and things people might be getting rid of, what a neat idea! :yay2

Your kind comments are appreciated. I wish I could take credit for the gorgeous squares, but alas I was just the lucky recipient and got to join them all. They are gorgeous and I love it. YS does, too! http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v478/SamplerLady/mmouseplus.gif

I sure as heck wouldn't give that pillow away. That's a beautiful square. How lucky can you get, to be gifted such nice squares.

I absolutely love the squares. You did a super job putting them together and what is best is they were free and not just thrown away.
