Needle point kits, good source of yarn bits

If you are trying to collect bits of different colors of yarn, look at thrift stores, garage sales for needle point kits. They have a variety of colors and usually are reasonably priced. I like the wool yarns for scrumbles. I use a felting needle to secure all the ends, the pieces are about a yarn or so long, so there are lots of ends. Now what do I do with all the linen cloth the designs are on????
