Featuring Amore and Allure... my friend that I made them for already saw one and gushed over it without realizing it's gonna be hers. ;-) I had so much fun I decided to make her a hat!!! and I may teach her how to crochet off of the same yarn so she can have a matching scarf... ;-)

no pattern! I just made a circle around the base of my forearm and gave it a little extra space (amore is VERY stretchy, so not too big).. then crocheted in the round, decreasing every once in a while to give it more slenderness up to the wrist area. Then added stitches to go around my hand, killed the round when I got to the thumb area (I kept trying it on), and then chained across the gap again when I got past the thumbhole and did a few more rows to cover the upper-hand area.

then added the trim, turned them inside out, and voila!

I'm learning that I'm really no good at patterns, so almost everything i make is freehand...

Great arm warmers. I'm making some myself but I like to start at the fingers and work my way up the arm. Then, I can decide on length as I go. I like the idea of using that fur/eyelash yarn! Looks great.

Those are terrific!!! :cheer I am always cold, especially my hands, but I have to type all day at work. I wonder if something like that would help. Do they keep you warm? I think they look great :) and so does your hair. hee hee :lol

they're the BEST for keeping your arms warm and your fingers free to do stuff.. I work in a computer lab that's always 50 degrees and I live by the things... nevermind that they're very in fashion as well. ;-)

thanks!

I love those, I could make some without the fur trim to wear in winter when I'm cleaning swimming pools and wear thick rubber gloves over them.
