Wonderful! Maybe I'll get out all those extra scrumbles & make a small afghan. I've always hesitated to do that since it just doesn't get cold enough here for something that heavy. Keep us updated:)

I think your afghan is gorgeous! Truly a work of art and love. Your daughter is very lucky. I am a spinner but here in Australia we don't use roving as much as batts of carded fibre or straight up fleeces. I never saw roving until last year at a spinning camp i went to. They showed us a diz and how to use it. Honestly can't see the point to it myself happy to use batts, sliver or straight fleece. Cheers mate!

thanks, I have been using this afghan for a bit and it is so warm because it is all wool!
Meghan seems to like it, which is good.

Deb, how wonderful! It's just an organic form, it's very pleasing to the eye. What a work of art! :)
