RIT anyone??

I want to dye an already felted item, and wonder if anyone has done this. Or more specifically has anyone used RIT or Dylon dye??? thanks:think

While I haven't dyed a felted item (yet), I have used Rit dye on cotton chenile yarn. The color I used was wine & while it didn't come out as dark as the package showed, I was very pleased with it. Oh, I did pre-wash the hat & scarf before dyeing.

Lynlee [Me&P] did it with her felted bag... I will try to dig you up some info as I'm not positive she used RIT...
