This worked up nice and quick and the pattern was easy. I purchased it and downloaded it from lion brand yarn. The yarn color is wool-ease in "mushroom" me likey!

We're eagerly awaiting the down-sizing of your pic. Right now it's of colossal proportions...there's a nice label, but no poncho! :thinking2

Hi! Isn't that a great pattern, when I first saw the picture I was like GAK! at the color choices, just not my thing, then I pictured it in a solid color and it just looks better in my opin...
Here's the link, its NOT a free pattern, but it was an instant pattern that you pay for and then download! Gosh how I love technology!

btw, they first called this a "knitted poncho" in error, so if you are still seeing that, its incorrect, this IS crochet! YAY!:coffee

Exactly Deb! Diversity Rocks!
Oh and I used a K hook and only one strand of yarn, mushroom wool-ease worsted weight. I tried using a double strand of that and uh, ran out of yarn, a duh, and had to frog and re do but with just 1 strand so I'd have enough! I would love to try this in their wool-easy chunky or the next size up from worsted, they have a green color, called willow (i think) that I am so in love with!
AND :rollin (ok I need to shutup) whoever designed this gets a high-five from me cause they did an awesome job, I totally agree with ya'll! I will make many many many gifts from this pattern!:clap
