I am in the midst of doing a craft show and had a lady ask me if I had any curling iron holders. I said if I could get ahold of a pattern I would make her some for the next show in December. According to her, you take a teflon coated pot holder (long one for shaft of curling iron) and sew it together lengthwise. Then crochet around the edges. She says she has one she uses for traveling and she can pop her hot iron into it and pack it down. Anybody got any ideas where I can go look at one?

I've not seen one. Doesn't mean it's not out there.
I just wrap a hand towel around mine when I travel.
I would think you'd either do just what you said; or make a long rectangle, sew the edges leaving the top open. :think

I know you can buy teflon fabric (made for making ironing board covers). I would take that and crochet the bag (a rectangle) and use the teflon fabric for the lining.
