ripple stitch

I need some suggestion on how to start a ripple afghan using this formual I found on the internet. The formula state to change a foundation of 374, and have 11 stitches on both sides of the ripple. How do I start the second row for the formula to work

Can you put a link to the formula that you are talking about. Cause it really depends on what stitch you are using.

I think that for your first ripple you would be better off using a simplier pattern. I PMed you with an easy one.
