Actually, I'm working on that last one right now. Making a blanket for my son's bed, approx. 5 1/2 feet wide and 7 feet long. I love doing this ripple pattern! It's the first time I've done a ripple, and this is really easy and relaxing to work while sitting in front of the tv or listening to music.
The yarn I'm using is an italian acrylic, and I like it a lot, but eventually I want to make one of these using a larger hook and using wool, so I can felt it down to make a thick, heavy, "cast iron" wool blanket for my own bed. It gets darn cold here in Iowa in January. :lol
