I have 8 skeins of white RH Light & Lofty. I would really like to make a nice afghan out of it to cover my queen bed. Could somebody help me find a pattern for an afghan that would work with that type of yarn? Any help will be highly appreciated.
Thanks in advance,

Hi, Here is a chart that gives you differnt yarns with the same gauge.
You might substitute your yarn for any patterns that use these yarns.

Here are some free Coats and Clark Patterns.

With the thicker yarns, it's best to keep it simple, maybe a V-st blanket?
They're easy and work up quick, plus you don't have the density of a close stitch.
Row 1) Ch the length you want your project, dc in the 5th ch from the hook, ( counts as the first V-st), skip 2 chs, (dc, ch 1, dc= V-st) in the next st
skip next 2 chs, ending with a v-st. If you have any leftover stitches, just ignore them and weave in later.
Row 2: Sl st in first ch sp of V-st, ( ch 3, ch 1, dc in same space- counts as the beginning v-st), V- st in center sp of V- st, across.
Repeat row 2 for length desired.
This pattern looks nice with stipes as an accent.
Just take care to work the V-st in the V-st, and not between the sts.
