I just finished this for one of my son's Drs.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v201/ilexmi/starghan.jpg
from this pattern Beth's Little Star (http://www.angelfire.com/va3/heartfeltangels/littlestarafghan.html)
I used 3 colors of Cotton Tots. I did use a G hook for the first round then switched to an H. I thought the holes were to big when I used an H in round 1.

Ooooo. I love that. I make a fleece baby bunting that is that exact shape. That would be the perfect blanket to go with it.

I was just getting ready to start a baby afghan for a friend due in October. I've been debating between granny squares or a star. I think you pushed me. It looks great! :)h

Thanks everyone!
It worked up pretty quickly. It's worked in rounds in DC so it's a good car or watching tv project. And no squares to join lol! <img border=0 src="http://img28.photobucket.com/albums/v84/crochetville/bounce012.gif" />

I love this! I've toyed with making one but chicken out each time and just go for a traditional rectangle.
