I'm so excited. My last crafts fair (and only my second) was such a bust that I thought I was never going to try selling my stuff again. Then a co-worker asked about a poncho I was wearing. I had made 2 more (cause I'm crazy) and she bought one. Then my new neighbor came over a couple of days later and bought the other one, a flowered purse and asked me to make her 2 cell phone cozies. Then 2 girlfriends came over the other day, and tried on everything I had. It made me feel so good and it was really fun watching them. They bought a poncho and 3 hats. It was about $320 all together. Just in the last two weeks. And the best part is that it was mostly stuff I had made that I never thought I would get rid of. Granted, it's not all profit, but I'm still thrilled to have sold so much.

Funny, one of my buyers was from LA. Must be harder to sell crocheted stuff out west. I didn't sell anything all summer, but now that the weather is colder people want stuff.

I have never had much luck in my area. It seems that handmade items sell better along the coast than inland.
