And here's my son's Christmas gift. Only the fingerless gloves are crocheted. The scarf is knitted, on the diagonal, and the beanie is my first attempt at dpn's (double pointed needles).

very nice, is he a hunter? I got some redheart camo yarn to make dh some hunting stuff, is that what you used?

Wow that is beautiful. I love them both. Did you get the patterns on the internet? I am currently working on a hat for my son, similiar but on straight needles. Really nice work, love the camoflauge too.

They turned out great. I made my son a hat with the camoflauge yarn last year but i used the kniffty knitter loom he loves it. Your scarf looks much better then mine. I just did sc scarf for him. I want to look for pattern for a poncho for boys and make a camflauge one for xmas.

Hi LibiLou, The way way the camo yarn color-blocked on the hat is very cool!
