Christmas Stockings

Good morning all -
I can't decide if these are finished yet... I followed the Bernat Crochet Stocking pattern (very loosely, as usual for me), and Lion Wool-Ease. After some trial and error, I decided to add the initial appliques and the red hanger loops. Now I can't decide if I should do red whipstitching all around the toe and heel borders to balance everything out. Any advice?

The stockings turned out beautifully, I think if you add more stitching it will be too busy and take away from the initials........that is my :2c

They look great to me! I, too, think that adding the red may make them a bit too busy. Just my humble opinion, though. ;)

Those are very cute. I can understand the desire to balance out the red by adding just a touch more. Perhaps you can make a holly applique to put on the cuff. That would finish it nicely. There's a pattern here (http://www.chezcrochet.com/page0082.html) if you're interested.
