Hi Ladies,

Thanks for the compliments. Let me try to address the questions. I used Oreo Heart Yarn: 100% Acrylic. I was totally broke, but I had to get my fix in. I did use double stranded though.

The hat, ya'll gonna have a fit when you read this. The hat is the hippie pattern gone WRONG. Remember I asked what sc tog was? Well it's a decrease, but I was increasing on the hat, so it didn't look right, so I started doing my own thang.

To add insult to injury, I was using the wrong Hook size. The ORIGINAL pattern called for H and I used K. I told ya'll I was feigning. Lucky me , it worked out fine.

If ya'll want the hippie hat pattern (which is lovely - I finally did it right). Do a google search for hippie hat crochet pattern, and the young ladies blog should pop right up with the pattern.
