Well here's my latest crochet pattern.

Me, my husband, and Tucker (our dog) have been doing a lot of geocaching lately (www.geocaching.com (http://www.geocaching.com)/)). Being that's it's Hunting Season, I figured Tucker needed a fluorescent orange sweater so he could be safe in the woods.
Basically this is the pattern.
Using Red Heart yarn and a "J" hook, I crocheted a large granny square until it got to the right size for Tuck.
Then I crocheted a wide band for the front (you can see by the Tuck3 picture how it's laid out), and crocheted a band across his belly. Actually the first band I did across the belly I had to pull out and start all over again because it got in the way of Tuck's wee-wee - - darn male dogs!!!
Then to finish it off I did a row of single crochet all around the edges. Of course to determine the appropriate length for the bands (and for the square) I had to keep on trying it on Tuck..Fortunately, he makes a good model.
