I did it, ya'll:whew - - I took the plunge and here is my first ever take on free form crochet. She is a little doll I made with a free form dress and she is holding a sign that say "Challenge Yourself" :rock which will be my moto for more experiments in this area:

Dawn! That's just so darn adorable! I love the little touches, her pink cheeks, the choker (is that a butterfly?) The free form dress is inspiring =) you did such an amazing job with her!

I just came across your doll, she's an angel. :angel I love dolls and with that dress she's really something. I want to try the freeform and like you I will start with something small, Very nice!

She is soooo cute!!!!
I took dolls made from gloves(dont ask I didnt make them) to Mexico that were similiar the little girls (who really have no toys) absolutly loved them. I am soooo not ready for this type of crocheting. I really need patterns!!!
