Hat on Wife Swap 11/14/05

Did anyone catch Wife Swap last night? I noticed one of the Wives had on a cool hat. I don't think it's actually crocheted, but it appears to be easily converted. I apologize for the pic, this was the best I could get it to turn out... What do you think? How hard to make this crocheted?
