I think I'll be trying this soon. What a neat thing to do with rovings and a bar of soap!

very neat!!!
so, once the soap gets all used up, you have to toss it, though:worried

Hmmm thinking here.... it could be done with some leftover bits of roving (yeah I know *what* leftovers) but still *g* and when the soap is all gone, you could use it as a dishscrubbie... or you could save the pieces from several felted soaps and sew them together like a quilt and make a bag out of them.... I'm sure there's other thrifty things to do too *g*

Maybe you could cut a slit near, but not on, one end and either use it as a little pouch for kids "treasures" or slip a slightly smaller bar of new soap in it!
Very cool idea all around!

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v478/SamplerLady/mmouseplus.gifIt continues to full down as you use the soap. By the time you're done it's pretty much just a wad of wool that's really, really, clean! :D

a basket of some bath salts, an eyemask a candle of a couple of those would make an awesome gift!!!! Gonna have to put that on my christmas list!! And kids could do this too, I know my dd and ds would have a blast making these!!! I wonder if there are any kinds are bar soap that would NOT work with this?
