I have been creating all sorts of soap critters for the kids in my life. Well I decided I had better not forget mom and It would be nice if I did something that would make her feel a little special, It is done with DMC Embroidery Thread, and DMC Traditions, Worked up fairly quickly and was simple to do. I used a number 4 boye hook to do it with. Think I am about done with all the soap covers I need. But they do make nice little gifts and are fairly easy to do.

Wow... that is very pretty. Are you going to use the soap or just look at it? :DI have used one of these for years, Actually I have two, one done with tatting thread and one done with dmc pearl cotton and Yes I use them all the time. They really make the soap lather up well and it is good for the skin to scrub with it. So it is functional as well as pretty.
