I made this bag during the course of last week... I'm pleased with how it turned out, even if the straps are a little long...

My problem is, the pillowcase came untied during the washing process, and now my HAIRY bag has little bits of suede from the shoes I washed it with embedded into the fur. See?

All those little white bits? I can't brush/lint roll them out, and even picking them out one by one isn't very effective. I'm stumped.

Well you could try running it through again with something different, but I have no idea how it'd work. Or you could just pretend you *meant* for that to happen lol. Call it part of the design lol. From the pic I can't really see the white, not much anyway.

Ok well I clicked the picture and I can see it a bit more that way...

my best suggestion would be try washing in cold with jeans maybe? So it doesn't full more and embed the white bits even more, and maybe the jeans will beat them out? But again, dunno how well it'd work...

i think giving it a cold wash is a good idea.

my other idea - a pair of tweezers and time :blush

Have you -- or are you going to -- trim the furriness down at all, or are you going to leave it as is (I can't tell if you already did this)? I'm wondering if you trim/shave it, will the little sueded bits come out with the extra fuzz or not.

The bag looks cute! <img border=0 src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v84/crochetville/rowofhearts.gif" /> Good luck getting the suede bits out!
