Gryffindor set-scarf/hat

Here's a set I made for my 8 year old cousin. The hat is the stocking cap by Yarncat, I just rotated the colors back and forth. The scarf, I just did double crochet.

Holy Cow! I can't believe it! I just got done making my 13 yr. old daughter this SAME SET! Striped cone hat even! How freaky is that!!!!!!!!

Very cute! :cheer My boyfriend (keeping in mind this was coming from a 35-year-old :D ) really wanted a Gryffindor scarf, but finally decided he wanted to switch the colors to purple and black because he would have felt just a wee bit silly. Not that I've started the scarf yet, anyway... lol
