Is there a difference in the two, or are they interchangeable terms? I found this (http://www.fuzzygalore.biz/articles/fulling.shtml) which I read to mean fulling is what most of you do...taking yarn, making something, and then fulling it. Felting seems to technically be using raw fleece that hasn't been sewn into anything? So that got me wondering if in the realms of crochet and knitting...have fulling and felting become interchangeable.

Anyway, just curious :)

The way I understand it is as you explained - felting is what's done to a raw fiber, fulling is what we do, washing crocheted items. I think the mistake really is misuse, not interchangeable terms. "felting" may be more familiar to those not so fiber-oriented, which may explain why we tend to use that term.
