I'm hooked. I can't stop.
Two felted bags for your viewing pleasure:
#1 - a small red clutch - hdc with Paton's Classic Merino Wool - used less than one skein - pre-felt measurement was approx 11 inches. post felt - just over 7 inches.

#2 - small round drawstring pouch - hdc using a combo of Sensations Red Licorice yarn and Paton's Classic Merino. (I wasn't sure how the two would felt together... :thinking1 umm.. still not sure if I like it.) Pre-felt measurement was 11 inches. post felt the bag measures 6 inches.

And some close ups of details can be seen here (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v298/definitelydeb/CraftyStuff/felt-rdbagFINcu1.jpg) and here (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v298/definitelydeb/CraftyStuff/felt-rdbagFINcu2.jpg).
What I discovered today is that MY washing machine does get hot enough to felt (I used my grandmothers' machine last time) but that it MAY agitate a little bit more than I need it to... these bags got a lot smaller than the last one.
Thanks for looking (and supporting my new HABIT!).
