Driving to/from Virginia = Coasters for Xmas

Driving to and from Virginia (actually I wasn't driving, I was the passenger) gives one a lot of time to crochet. On the way down I made a pair of slippers which were a bit too big for me so I gave them to my daughter. On the way back....I made a mess of CD coasters/hot pads for Christmas gifts using this pattern: http://jahodnett.tripod.com/id51.html. 18 total in this picture, plus one extra I made before the trip back that I gave to my daughter.

Very nice. They are all beautiful. I wish I could crochet in the car. :sigh I get sick though. (and we are going on a 6 hour road trip in two weeks. Bummer!!)
