This one is similar to the one I use under my tree. When I made mine, the pattern called for a 5 inch ring for the center. I altered the pattern to make this one with a slit opening. It's so much eashier to put under the tree this way. Almost every year we forget to put it on the tree stand before we put the tree in it. Then hubby is not a happy Santa!:rant It's almost become a tradition. :lol

That is so pretty and dare I say "vintage" looking. ( I mean that in a good way honest!) Where did you get the pattern for it? Is it one you can share? I have been looking for a tree skirt pattern to make. I only have a cheap felt store bought one.
