I just finsihed this bookmark for a girlfriend for Christmas. It was my first bookmark and was so easy. (I have done some pretty challanging things in thread) I think I will be making a ton more bookmarks in the future. Easy and quick for those last minute gifts.
I used Aunt Lydia's size 10 thread with a size 5 hook and this Scallop Bookmark (http://hometown.aol.com/lffunt/scallop.htm) pattern.

Thank you! Thank you! I've tried to do some "easy" bookmarks in thread and quit half-way :thair I'll let you know how (and if) it turns out. There are lots of readers in my family....
