Fav Yarn Stores... South Chic Sub/NE Indiana

Here are three yarn stores that I have visited. My most recent discovery has been "Sit N Knit." This store was beautiful w/ a wonderful staff. Complimentary coffee/tea/latte/cappacino and best of all: NO ONE snubbed the crocheter. They appreciated the art. Although the site doesn't directly say...they have two additional locations in IN...one in South Bend and the other in Michigan City.

Stitch By Stitch I enjoy because, again everyone is so friendly and helpful. Also, didn't find any snubbing. Beautiful selections here too.

Knitting Etc. Inc has a wonderful selection...most employees don't comment a bias on crochet...however, I did overhear one (owner, I don't know...) telling a woman asking for help on a crocheted item that she'd be much happier if she learned to knit it. (How the h*** would she know she'd be happier....?) Anyway, I go for the selection.

If you're in the area check out Sheep's Clothing in Valparaiso Indiana. They have a great selection, whenever I'm in town I always stop in and browse--and spend. They are always very nice! I don't know if they have a website though, but it is worth searching out.
