Ok, so I have a ton of "fun" fur and thought it would be absolutely darling to use it around the cuff of those cheap knit gloves you can get just about anywhere. The thing is, I am not so sure how I should do it. I get the impression that I would need to use a smaller hook if I want to crochet right through the cuff, but smaller hooks and fun fur make me nervous.

I also wonder if I should start at the top of the cuff (closer to the palm/fingers) and crochet along the whole cuff, or start right at the edge of the cuff and add rows to extend the glove.......

If I could get pointed in the right direction, I would greatly appreciate it.

What you could do and I've done this is actually use the larger hook to crochet a cuff and then sew it together and hand stitch it around the edge of the gloves. So basically crochet the cuff/edging itself and then attach it to the item.
