Dallas the Puppy!

here is a hat i made for my nephew off the cuff while i was in KY visiting my family ..

there is a whole story about it on my blog if you want the whole thing its there..

at any rate i whipped this up in a night to make up for not getting him something at hobby lobby while i was getting my neices yarn and hooks.. and i left him out on accident DOH!! so no pattern .. just a little improvisional crochet

Aunty to the rescue!! That is so funny. I guess I was a tuff mother...that sounded rude, lol....anyway, when I am out with the kids sometimes one gets something, sometimes both, usually neither. I tell them to suck it up. Ok, usually both get something....not that tough after all.:blush

i just wasnt thinking about the "fairness" of it all .. caught up in the moment of the nieces really wanting to crochet had me excited! ..

that dance .. you should see it.. its SO flippin' cute!

and of course the look on his face when it was done.. priceless.. he even slept in it the first night he had it !
