My first attempts at using thread. Not my best efforts but I really enjoyed making them and I think I might be hooked :hook

Thanks for the nice comments everyone. Yes I'm hooked now, I really don't know why I didn't try thread before.
I started a pineapple book mark last night, I wish I'd of known before how easy pineapples are to crochet. I've always admired them but kept away because I thought they were too complicated, now I know they're not!

Them turned out great. You did a very good job. I like working with thread but it is hard for me, my hands tend to cramp. I love them though.

Hopefully you will now be hooked on thread work. I think you did a great job for your first thread attempt. Certainly much better than I did straight off.
There are lots of relatively easy patterns out there for novice thread crocheters. I want to gloat every time I read something like this as I'm so tired of hearing that this is a "lost art."

Thanks again everyone, yes I'm definetly hooked and to prove it went searching on ebay, last night I won these for just $3.75, an absolute bargain, well I think so

Hi lynnmax,,, your threadies look wonderful for your first time. I remember as a teenager --a looonnnggg time agoooo how sloppy mine look compare to yours. I still do threadies and got better as time went on. As for you your doing great! I am now in the works doing a doilie now with beads.
