question about RIT dye

I was wondering,
when you use RIT dye how do you keep the color vibrant after it is dry? I've found that I like the color when wet but it gets dull when dry? Any ideas? thanks all

I have used it, and found a similar thing happens. I have read that for stronger colors you need to use more of the dye. Hope that helps. I did use fuschia and it worked well...but i haven't felted it yet...so hopefully it will stay bright.
