I did the same thing a few days ago. It's only in store, not on their website. Some is 70% off and some is 50%...still good deals. Prices like that are the only reason I would ever buy that stuff. It's so fun looking...but so expensive!

They are pretty expensive otherwise! Their Ticker Tape was usually $8.99 and is on sale for $2.69! Pretty good deal :) I almost bought some, but couldn't envision a project *lol*

Yeah well...I still don't know what I'm going to do with everything I got :blush 5 different types...lol. I don't even usually go for the more trendy sorts of things you would probably make out of them. Not really a poncho person either...and most of the patterns I've found (http://crafts.vigilant20.com/?page_id=154)for their yarns are ponchos...lol. I guess I'll just have to make lots of gifts.

My plan is to make a sweater/jacket for my daughter Natalie (age 3). I think it's gonna turn out really cute!

I bought some too, just because the prices were so stinky low! I'm hoping to use it to make items for my Etsy store. Lynn, one pattern you might like (that I'm trying with the Tutu) is the Zen of Stash Diving scarf from this past CrochetMe. HTH!

Speaking of Michael's, be sure to check out their clearance sections. My store always has an aisle near the back that is full of all sorts of craft stuff marked down. Now, most of it is pure junk that is still overpriced, but every now and then they have some real gems. I've seen a lot of yarn there is the past. Today,, I found a leaflet of baby patterns, regularly $7.50, on clearance for $3. I also got a sweatshirt for $3 to make a sweatshirt jacket with fun fur trim. Their colors and selections are always limited on the clearance section, but it's worth a look. My store had a very limited selection of crochet pattern leaflets (not with the yarn), mostly children's patterns, but I saw one or two afghan leaflets if I remember correctly.
