Incredible Vintage Stash @ the Thrift Store

So, i was in my local thrift shop today looking for some sweaters (I'm interested in learning how to felt) and i found a HUGE stash of Yarn for sale! All of it was vintage quality, looks like stuff from Roses, Kmart, and other places, looks like 1970's or so.....

I got stuff like Spinnerin (real old), Jack Frost, Kmart's Sayelle, Roses' Wintuk, Dupont, a couple of Wintuks with no name brand association, and a bunch of Red Heart. I was so excited i grabbed three bags full, for $2.98 each bag (4-5 skeins each bag).

I'm so glad i went and found some really great stuff! :clap

Funny, Green is exactly the color of the yarn! All the spinnerin and most of the Wintuk is green, which is good because green is my favorite color, but i got some mint and some baby colors too

(I guess that means i need to find someone with a baby and make them something!) :cheer
