Since I learned about Etsy here I thought I should post. I never tried to sell anything on line before, but I figured why not. At the moment I just want to get rid of some stuff I made a long tim ago. I just can't rationalize spending more money on yarn and crocheting a bunch of stuff unless I see that this is a viable way of making a little bit of money. So far, lots of looks, but no sales. But I figure I have nothing to lose. Here it is: TepperWear.etsy.com (http://www.etsy.com/shop_public.php)

neat hats, they are pretty... Do you have to pay for the items every month they are in the shop even if they didn't sell? what i mean is, do you pay for the same item even if it is there for the second month or third? Any etsy sellers, let me know...

This is what it says on the site: It costs $0.10 per quantity to list an item on Etsy, regardless of the selling price.

When you sell an item, there is a flat 3.5% commission fee assessed by Etsy.

It doesn't say anything about 0.10 per month, so I'm thinking it's just a one time fee.

Tepper, if you want to try to make a sale, try editing the signature file for every message board you participate on. Have it mention your Etsy site. Good luck to you!

I have opened a store too. I'm hoping to do well until I can get into a craft show or something. I reallly need to bring in some extra cash! Good luck to others selling on there!
