OMG!! You read my mind! I got finished watching Ghost Whisperer, and I LOVED the white, long sweater she was wearing, so I decided to get on here & see if anyone had a similar pattern. I could make one up if I could see the sweater better. I 'bout fell off my chair when I saw your post!! Way cool!! (I LOVE that show!!) :eek

Oh, pooh!!! I'm 53 and I would wear it!!! I love lacy, feminine sweaters. I say, if you're under 109, you can wear it!! Ha ha~~

It's probably just me feeling fat but I think I look godawful in everything :( I'd say if I were under 109 pounds now then it would look good :lol

i was watching last night, too. i said "OMG, look at that fabulous sweater"!! my hubby thought that was a nice change. being a gardener, i often watch the background of shows and criticize their plant choices (that plant won't grow in that hardiness zone!!):lol
someday, i hope to be able to make something as pretty as that sweater. but we won't hold our breaths till then, ok?

Bless your heart! I do the same thing! Not with gardening, but with crochet or knit - I study it & then try to make it.... If I had a good still-picture or two, I KNOW I could do it - but anyway, I started a sleeve last night - I'm determined to make one! I'm probably too fat to wear a long sweater like that - they usually make me look even bigger! So I might just make it regular length or just down to the top of my thighs... I don't know. I'll post it when I get it done. I guess I better write it as I go, huh?!?! Cause I know a few people are gonna want it, too. It looked slightly fuzzy in the close=ups, like Lion Brand Jiffy Mohair, but I don't have any of that, so I started it in Red Heart Baby Terry. It's a terry-cloth-like yarn. It's says it's worsted weight, but it feels a little lighter than that to me. I thought Lion Chenille would be pretty too, but that would be pretty expensive! :eek

If anybody out there finds a similar sweater pattern, would you please post the link? Meanwhile, I'm working on the first sleeve, since I'm sure it was just straight double crochet. The collar and cuffs are what made the sweater so pretty. :dreaming Thanks, Shelle crochetqueen1@verizon.net

Yes, it does. Except it was kind of a pineapple pattern. But this shrug is beautiful! Thanks!

I've been looking on E-bay, and found a sweater pattern that looks pretty close to the one on Ghost Whisperer - I don't know how to attach the link or whatever, but here's the Item # 8249429651 You can look it up. Scroll to the bottom, cause the first one is blue, and the bottom one is white - it's beautiful. I don't have/want Paypal account, or I'd buy it. (I'm too afraid of fraud) :eek

Its beautiful. The bottom part looks exactly right. I think the collar was like that but bigger. I'm not sure about the body and sleeves though, I think they were a little more open. Its beautiful though. I bookmarked the page to come back to for when I finally get through some of my WIPs

I just noticed something funny. If you buy the pattern from ebay it will cost $6.99 but if you go to her website its $5

Whenever I've sold a pattern to a magazine or whatever, I'm not allowed to sell it anywhere else. Curious???? :think Anyway, they're gorgeous!!! The whole catalog is to drool over! :drool

well, don't drool on your yarn. i've found that it makes it hard to work with when it's all wet like that.:rofl
