I just saw the new Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and one of the grandmothers was crocheting in it. Thought I would share. It was a good movie. Johnny Depp :c9!:devil Ok that was my crochet find.

Did you notice that there is a TON of crocheted items in their little house? Granny square afghans, sweaters, I believe the Mom was wearing a pair of fingerless gloves too that were crocheted...

I noticed all the crochet stuff in the little house too. Which proves that chocolate and crochet naturally go together!!:lol My two favorite things together in a movie!:lol
Have a great Day:)

Yes, that's Liz Smith...she was also in the show "The Vicar of Dibley" and she almost always had a crochet hook and yarn in her hands in her scenes.

I was just looking at the credits for the Wallace & Gromit movie(very cute!) and I saw her name listed as the voice for the really cranky woman with the pumpkin. I'll have to watch it again soon just to see if she's crocheting!
And yes, anything with Johnny Depp in it is delicious. It was so weird though, how the false teeth he wore changed the shape of his face. Not that it took away from his sex appeal.....does anything?:D

In the original Willy Wonka movie, Charlie received a crocheted scarf from his grandmothers and his mother for his birthday.
