Craft Fairs

Hi,

I live in the tampa bay area of Florida where I crochet and sell doilies and other crochet items on Ebay. I was wondering how I can go about finding out when and where craft fairs are held. I really would like to try and sell my items in other places. :)

Check the events section of your newspaper. Some shows will request vendors, and if nothing more, they announce a week or two before a show so you'll be able to check it out this year to see if you want to apply next year.

You also, I think, can request craft show info from your chamber of commerce. The Art Council in your area probably hosts shows and will give you info about shows.

One of the best ways I've heard about shows (I've only done one) is through word of mouth at craft stores. Usually, when people know that I sell things, they usually tell me about such and such show their relative does and how to apply.
