I'm looking for a new carry along project, since mine is about to graduate because it is getting big. :) I thought I'd do a strip 'ghan so it travels well. I'd like to do something that doesn't require much counting beyond the starting chain (I'll be working on it while hanging out with friends, etc) and since it will probably be in chenile it should look good slip stitched together rather than sewn.

Any ideas?

Hmmm, not sure about a Strip one but any square pattern would be great for working on the go. I've been working on the Sunburst Poncho from SCC at work since I only need to bring the yarn and hook to work with me.

The Sampler Stripes CAL that we are doing would be way too big for travel IMO. It starts with 266 CH and does require constant changing and such... Good luck!!!
